PGT Sociology Teacher – Prominence World School | Greater Noida
Location: Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh
Employment Type: Full‑time
Salary: Rs.40,000 – Rs.70,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging PGT level Sociology lessons as per the school curriculum.
Assess student performance through tests, projects and continuous observation, providing constructive feedback.
Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development and school events.
Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Required Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Sociology or a related discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school setting.
Skills and Attributes
Strong command of sociological concepts and ability to relate them to real‑world contexts.
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
Proficiency in using digital tools and multimedia for teaching.
