Rama Devi International School seeks a dedicated professional to oversee the physical development and sports activities for students in Gautam Buddha Nagar. This role focuses on organizing and managing sports programs, ensuring compliance with school policies, and fostering a healthy, active lifestyle among pupils. Design and implement structured physical activity programs, including team sports, athletics, and fitness training, tailored to students’ ages and skill levels. Collaborate with school management to secure partnerships with local sports clubs, gyms, or training facilities for workshops and competitions. Ensure smooth operation of school sports facilities by maintaining equipment, scheduling maintenance, and addressing any technical issues. Lead and mentor student athletes, providing guidance on sportsmanship, discipline, and performance improvement. Organize and coordinate school-level sports tournaments, ensuring fair play, adherence to rules, and proper documentation of results. Work closely with the school’s administration to budget for sports-related expenses and propose cost-effective solutions for equipment upgrades or facility improvements. Represent Rama Devi International School at regional or district-level sports events, showcasing the school’s achievements and building community engagement. Ensure all sports activities comply with safety standards and emergency protocols, including first aid training for participants.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of relevant experience in sports management, event coordination, or physical education administration is essential. Good command of Hindi and English is required for communication with students, parents, and school staff. Familiarity with school ERP systems and basic knowledge of sports logistics will be an asset. Experience in organizing large-scale events or managing sports budgets is highly preferable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students through sports. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges in sports scheduling or facility management. Knowledge of Uttar Pradesh’s local sports regulations and community engagement practices will be beneficial. Physical stamina and a passion for promoting youth fitness are non-negotiable.
