Lesson plans should include seasonal themes, festivals, and interdisciplinary projects. Regular use of display boards and classroom art corners will be expected.
What You Will Do
Plan and conduct weekly Art And Craft sessions for PRT classes, ensuring age-appropriate activities.
Prepare and maintain art supplies, ensuring safe and organized storage in the classroom.
Assess student progress through portfolios, rubrics, and periodic art assignments.
Organize monthly art displays within the school premises to showcase student work.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into subjects like science, social studies, and festivals.
Conduct special art workshops during events such as Independence Day, Diwali, and annual day.
Guide students in preparing for inter-school art competitions and exhibitions.
Maintain records of attendance, inventory of materials, and feedback from students and parents.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field from a recognized university.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with specialization in Art Education preferred.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Art And Craft for primary classes.
Familiarity with NCERT art curriculum guidelines is desirable.
Preferred Skills
Strong drawing and painting skills with expertise in multiple mediums.
Ability to create lesson plans that balance creativity with learning outcomes.
Experience in conducting art fairs, workshops, or community art projects.

Salary and Benefits
