Your Students
As a PRT Computer Science Teacher at Apeejay School, you will be working with students from Class 6 to 10. Your students are from diverse backgrounds, and you will be expected to cater to their individual needs and abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging computer science lesson plans for Classes 6 to 10
- Use technology to enhance student learning experiences and create a computer science lab environment at the school
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate computer science with other subjects and create interdisciplinary projects
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help outside of regular class hours
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and developments in the field of computer science
- Participate in school events and activities that promote computer science education and awareness
- Develop a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Maths, or Physics with a minimum of 50% marks
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a specialization in Computer Science or a related subject
- CTET or TET certification is preferred but not mandatory
