Role Summary
We are looking for a PRT Computer Science Teacher who can take the existing PRT Computer Science Teacher Vacancy in Gautam Buddha Nagar and grow it into a full-fledged Computer Science Teaching Job in Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar. The role covers classes I to V, designing age-appropriate activities that turn screen-time into learning time. Expect to plan lessons, assess small portfolios, and run mini-hackathons that parents can watch on Saturday mornings.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly Computer Science lessons aligned with the school’s integrated curriculum map.
Create step-by-step project sheets for block-based programming in classes I–II and Python basics in classes III–V.
Set up classroom laptops and Raspberry Pis before each session; keep devices charged and extensions taped down.
Conduct live coding demonstrations on a smart board, narrating every keystroke so beginners follow along.
Mark digital portfolios using a simple rubric; return feedback within 48 hours so students iterate quickly.
Organize monthly “Debug Clinics” where students bring their own projects for peer review.
Collaborate with the art teacher to build pixel-art murals that double as binary-decoding puzzles.
Attend monthly staff meetings to share best practices and co-plan inter-house coding competitions.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized institution.
Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in primary Computer Science.
Preference will be given to candidates with TET or CTET certification.
Perks and Pay
Monthly salary range is Rs.20,000 – Rs.35,000, disbursed on the last working day of each month.
