Teaching Computer Science fundamentals, including programming languages, algorithms, and basic computer concepts, using age-appropriate methods.
Designing and executing engaging lesson plans that incorporate real-world applications of technology.
Facilitating practical sessions, coding labs, and project-based learning to enhance students’ problem-solving skills.
Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials, including worksheets, PowerPoint presentations, and digital resources.
Collaborating with the school’s IT infrastructure team to integrate technology tools and resources effectively.
Participating in school-wide initiatives to promote digital literacy and computational thinking among students.
Qualification and Experience
A graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is essential. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory for teaching positions at Delhi Public School.
Three years of teaching experience, preferably in Computer Science or a related subject, is required.
Possession of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is highly preferred.
Experience in teaching students from grades 6 to 8 is advantageous.
Compensation and Location
