- Lead the development of the Computer Science syllabus for primary classes.

- Participate in school committees that drive digital literacy initiatives.
Core responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive Computer Science lessons for classes I‑VIII.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and assessment tools in line with NCERT guidelines.
- Conduct regular practical sessions using computers and educational software.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Organise coding clubs, robotics workshops and inter‑school tech competitions.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Update parents on student progress through meetings and reports.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers to implement cross‑disciplinary projects.
- Keep records of attendance, grades and inventory of IT equipment.
What you bring to the table
A graduate degree complemented by B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential, with TET/CTET certification considered a strong advantage. Minimum two years of experience teaching Computer Science at the primary level is required. Proficiency in basic programming, digital tools and a passion for fostering analytical thinking are key. Experience handling school‑level tech events adds value.
