Your Students
You will work with students from grades 1 to 12, guiding them through various dance forms and techniques. Day-to-Duties
- Plan and deliver dance lessons for students, including preparation and execution of performances.
- Teach various dance styles such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and contemporary dance forms.
- Develop and implement dance curricula for students, aligning with the school's educational goals.
- Organize and participate in school events, such as concerts and competitions, showcasing student talent.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and execute inter-house competitions and cultural events.
- Maintain a safe and organized dance studio, ensuring proper equipment and facilities are available for students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their dance skills.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student performance and progress.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- Preference will be given to candidates with TET or CTET certification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in dance, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of dance techniques and styles, including Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and contemporary dance forms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other teachers.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in planning and executing dance performances and events.
- Knowledge of music and rhythm, including the use of instruments and technology in dance.
- Familiarity with Indian classical dance forms and their history.
- Ability to create and implement innovative dance curricula.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
