About This Role
Delhi Public School in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic PRT Dance Teacher to join our team. As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching dance to students in our school. Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and teach dance lessons to students in grades 1-12.
2. Develop and implement dance curriculum that aligns with the school's educational goals.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance into the school's arts program.
5. Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
6. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
7. Develop and implement assessments to measure student learning.
8. Communicate with parents and students about student progress.
9. Participate in school events and performances.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
* 3 years of experience in teaching dance
* Strong knowledge of dance theory and practice
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have:
* CTET or TET certification
* Experience working with students with special needs
* Knowledge of Indian classical and folk dances
* Experience in choreographing dance performances
