4. Prepare students for CBSE and state-level music examinations and talent shows.
5. Create a vibrant music room ambiance with instruments, charts, and audio-visual aids.
6. Collaborate with art and dance teachers to integrate music in annual day and cultural events.
7. Conduct regular assessments of student progress and maintain record books.
8. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance in music.
9. Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of school music instruments and equipment.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Graduate in Music or related field from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching music at primary level
- Fluency in Hindi and English
- Ability to play at least two musical instruments (tabla, harmonium, guitar, etc.)
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience with CBSE music syllabus
- Participation in national or state-level music workshops
- Knowledge of classical, folk, and contemporary music genres
