Design and deliver age-appropriate lessons in Social Science, ensuring alignment with the CBSE curriculum. Prepare and evaluate unit-wise assessments, including practical projects and field studies, to assess students’ understanding. Collaborate with the Social Science department to plan interdisciplinary activities, such as guest lectures or cultural events, to enrich classroom learning. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance, ensuring transparency and accountability. Attend regular faculty meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on teaching methodologies. Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, addressing student queries and guiding them towards academic excellence.
To qualify, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience in Social Science is preferred, though not mandatory. A valid TET/CTET certificate is beneficial but not mandatory for this role.
The salary for the PRT Social Science Teacher position is Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, with the role based in Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
