Skating Coach Job in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh | School Vacancy
Role Summary
The Skating Coach position at Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddha Nagar is responsible for planning, supervising, and delivering skating training programs for students aged 5 to 18. This role plays a key part in developing athletic skills while maintaining safety standards in the school’s sports infrastructure. The coach ensures students progress through structured drills and competitive exposure.
What You Will Do
Plan daily skating sessions for junior and senior groups, adjusting intensity based on weather and student stamina.
Organize inter-house skating competitions and record performance metrics for each participant.
Maintain skating rink equipment, mats, and safety gear to prevent injuries during practice.
Coordinate with school administration to schedule practice timings and allocate rink space efficiently.
Monitor student attendance and discipline during skating drills, reporting concerns to the sports coordinator.
Collaborate with physiotherapists to design recovery routines for injured skaters.
Arrange guest coaching sessions with professional skaters for advanced skill enhancement.
Prepare monthly progress reports and share them with the school management.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline with a recognized sports coaching certificate in skating.
Minimum 2 years of full-time coaching experience in school or club settings.
Valid First Aid and CPR certification from a government-approved agency.
Familiarity with roller sports or ice skating regulations and safety protocols.
Preferred Skills
Strong leadership to guide 30–40 students per batch with clear instructions.
Excellent communication to interact with parents and school staff professionally.
Time management skills to balance training schedules with academic calendars.
Ability to mentor assistant coaches and junior staff in skating techniques.
