As a TGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that incorporate experiments, simulations, and other activity-based learning approaches to help students understand complex chemistry concepts. You will also be expected to maintain a well-equipped laboratory and ensure students follow proper laboratory safety protocols.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lessons on chemistry topics, including organic and inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, and biochemistry.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate chemical concepts and principles.
- Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes.
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development and other relevant issues.
- Supervise students during laboratory sessions and ensure their safety.
- Develop and implement extracurricular activities to promote student interest in chemistry.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the overall academic growth of the school.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you must have a post-graduate degree in Chemistry or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required for teaching positions in Delhi Public School. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET).
