Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons in accordance with the NCERT syllabus and school policies.
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions, ensure safety protocols, and maintain equipment and inventory.
- Assess student performance through tests, quizzes, assignments and projects, providing timely feedback and remedial support where needed.
- Design and update teaching aids, worksheets and digital resources to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Monitor class attendance, maintain accurate records of student progress and report to the Head of Department.
- Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, school events and co‑curricular activities related to science education.
- Mentor junior teachers and assist in departmental planning, curriculum reviews and academic audits.
- Stay updated with latest developments in Chemistry education and integrate innovative teaching methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc or equivalent).
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; CTET/TET preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
Employment Details
- Full‑time position.
- Salary: Rs.25,000 - Rs.45,000 per month.
- Location: Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
