Role Summary
Delhi Public School invites applications for a TGT Economics Teacher position in Dadri, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. As an Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Economics to students from classes 6 to 12.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Economics lessons to students
- Prepare and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams
- Maintain accurate student records and grades
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Economics and pedagogy
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Post-graduate degree in Economics or a related field
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in teaching Economics
- Good knowledge of teaching methodologies and curriculum design
Good to Have
- UPTET/CTET certification
- Experience in teaching Economics in a school setting
- Familiarity with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of Economics concepts and theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with colleagues
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and duties
Salary and Benefits
