Conduct regular remedial sessions for students who need extra support in comprehension and expression. Organize inter-house declamation, essay writing and spelling bee competitions. Coordinate with co-teachers to integrate English across subjects like social science and science. Prepare students for public speaking events and inter-school elocution contests. Maintain detailed records of attendance, assignments and assessment scores. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to share progress and suggest home support.
Who Can Apply
Candidates with a postgraduate degree in English and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed are eligible. Minimum four years of full-time English teaching experience in a secondary school is required. Familiarity with CBSE English syllabus and CCE patterns will be an advantage.
