Responsibilities
Plan and deliver the English curriculum for classes IX and X as per CBSE guidelines, ensuring language skills, literature appreciation and exam readiness. Conduct interactive reading, writing and speaking sessions that engage students of Gautam Buddha Nagar. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and assessments that reflect the standards of Rama Devi International School. Organise co‑curricular activities such as debates, dramatics and spelling bees to foster communication confidence. Provide timely feedback on assignments and maintain accurate records of student progress. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss English performance and address concerns.
Requirements
Post‑graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Minimum two years of teaching experience in English at the secondary level. TET/CTET qualification is preferred and will be an added advantage. Candidates must possess strong command over spoken and written English and be familiar with modern pedagogical tools. Ability to manage a classroom in a school environment like Rama Devi International School and adapt lessons to diverse learner needs.
Experience
At least 2 years of experience handling English classes in a school setting, preferably within Uttar Pradesh, is required. Prior involvement in English teaching job in Gautam Buddha Nagar or nearby districts will be considered favorably.
Salary
Rs.20,000 - Rs.42,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
