About This Role
This is a senior History teaching position at Delhi Public School, Dadri, Gautam Buddha Nagar. What You Will Do

Conduct weekly departmental meetings to share best practices, new resources, and assessment trends observed in board examinations. Mentor two to three junior History teachers through classroom observations, feedback sessions, and co-teaching opportunities. Monitor student progress using formative and summative tools, and recommend interventions when required.
Oversee the preparation of History projects, model answers, and sample papers for Classes 6 to 8 in collaboration with the academic coordinator. Ensure all classroom resources, maps, timelines, and digital aids are updated and accessible to students. Coordinate with the social science team to maintain interdisciplinary links with Geography and Civics.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in History with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution is mandatory. Four years of full-time TGT History teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school is required. CTET/TET certification is preferred but not essential for this role.
