Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement Mathematics curriculum for students from Class 6 to Class 8.
- Conduct regular classes, assessments, and evaluations to ensure students achieve academic excellence.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members, including Mathematics teachers and teaching assistants.
- Collaborate with the Vice Principal to achieve academic goals and improve student performance.
- Analyze and review examination results, identifying areas of improvement and implementing strategies to enhance student performance.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, including attendance, assessments, and evaluations.
- Develop and implement Mathematics-related projects and activities to enhance student engagement and learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training programs to stay updated on best practices in Mathematics education.
- Provide guidance and support to students who require extra help or face challenges in understanding Mathematics concepts.
- Contribute to the development of Mathematics-related resources, including textbooks, workbooks, and online materials.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum.
Required Qualifications
Apeejay School requires a highly qualified and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field, such as B.Sc. (Mathematics) or B.A. (Mathematics). A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for this position. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. NET or SET certification is preferred but not essential.
