About This Role
We seek a highly motivated and experienced TGT Social Science Teacher to join our faculty at Aspam Scottish School. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from Class 6 to 10, and contributing to the development of our curriculum and assessment processes.
Teaching Approach

As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will be expected to integrate technology effectively into your teaching practices, utilizing tools such as smart boards, Google Classroom, and LMS to create engaging and interactive lessons. You will also be responsible for creating and sharing digital resources, including lesson plans, assignments, and quizzes, using our school's LMS.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Social Science Teacher at Aspam Scottish School, your day-to-day duties will include:
* Teaching Social Science to students from Class 6 to 10
* Creating and sharing digital resources, including lesson plans, assignments, and quizzes, using our school's LMS
* Developing and implementing engaging and interactive lesson plans that integrate technology effectively
* Conducting regular assessments and providing feedback to students
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievement
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment processes
* Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
* Contributing to the development of our school's Social Science program, including curriculum design and implementation
* Providing support to students and colleagues as needed
* Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Social Science or a related field
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
* TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
