Facilitate classroom discussions, projects and debates that encourage critical thinking about history, geography, civics and economics.
Assess student performance through periodic tests, assignments and oral presentations, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to align cross‑subject activities and participate in school events, parent‑teacher meetings and co‑curricular programmes.
Required Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Social Science or related discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; TET/CTET qualification is preferred.
Desired Skills
Strong command of the English and Hindi languages for effective communication.
Ability to simplify complex concepts and relate them to everyday life of students.
Good organisational skills for lesson planning, grading and record‑keeping.
