Day-to-Day Duties
Teaching English language fundamentals to Nursery to Upper Kindergarten students using phonics-based methods. Preparing weekly lesson plans that integrate storytelling, rhymes, and group activities.
Leading curriculum development initiatives for the NTT English department with input from senior educators. Coordinating with coordinators to ensure smooth transition of learners to Grade 1.
Coaching students for in-house English assessments and preparing them for board-aligned language evaluations. Organizing monthly reading corners and phonics fairs to reinforce learning.
Conducting remedial sessions for students requiring extra support in letter recognition and sentence formation. Collaborating with parents during PTMs to share progress and suggest home-based learning strategies.
Maintaining teaching aids, worksheets, and digital resources for the NTT English classroom. Participating in school-wide training programs and peer observation sessions.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Minimum three years of teaching experience in early childhood English education is required.
Candidates with TET or CTET certification will be given preference. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential for effective classroom communication.
Prior experience in an NTT or kindergarten setting is strongly preferred. Knowledge of phonics programs like Jolly Phonics or similar will be an added advantage.
