As a PGT Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in the Computer Science subject, promoting their analytical, problem-solving, and programming skills.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Computer Science to students in classes 11 and 12
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to different learning styles
- Engage parents and guardians through regular progress meetings and parent-teacher associations
- Participate in the school's community service programs, promoting digital literacy among underprivileged students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Computer Science curriculum
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Computer Science and incorporate them into the curriculum
- Contribute to the school's efforts in promoting a culture of innovation, creativity, and critical thinking
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment in the computer lab
Who Can Apply
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong academic background in Computer Science, a valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. Experience in teaching Computer Science to students of 11th and 12th standard is highly desirable.
