Job Title
PGT English Teacher – Delhi Public School | Siddharth Vihar, Ghaziabad.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for classes IX to XII, aligning with CBSE curriculum and school standards. Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain comprehensive records of student progress. Organize co‑curricular activities such as debates, dramatics and literary clubs to enhance language skills. Mentor students for competitive exams and assist in career guidance sessions.
Key Duties
Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids and digital resources that cater to diverse learning styles. Supervise and evaluate student projects, oral presentations and written assignments. Coordinate with senior faculty for interdisciplinary programs and school events. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings and contribute to academic committees.
Requirements
Minimum four years of teaching experience in English at the secondary or senior secondary level. Post‑graduate qualification (M.A. English or equivalent) with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. TET/CTET certification is preferred. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, and proficiency with smart‑class tools. Ability to foster a disciplined yet supportive classroom environment.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a valid B.Ed/D.El.Ed and possess a post‑graduate degree in English. Preference will be given to those with CTET or TET clearance and a track record of improving student outcomes in English.
Salary
Rs.30,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
