The selected candidate will be responsible for:
1. Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring comprehensive coverage of grammar, literature, and composition.
2. Conducting interactive classes that encourage active participation, discussion, and practical application of English skills.
3. Assessing student progress through continuous evaluation, including oral presentations, written assignments, and project-based learning.
4. Preparing and maintaining detailed student records, including progress reports and academic performance tracking.
5. Collaborating with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects that enhance cross-curricular learning.
6. Organizing extracurricular activities such as literary clubs, debates, and poetry readings to boost students’ confidence and communication skills.
7. Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse perspectives while upholding academic excellence.
8. Participating in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and curriculum reviews to contribute to the school’s growth.
A postgraduate degree in English or a related field with at least two years of teaching experience in schools is essential. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, while prior experience in teaching English to students at the senior secondary level will be highly valued. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is a must, along with a genuine enthusiasm for fostering young minds in the language arts.
