What You Will Do
1. Plan and execute weekly lesson plans for Hindi (Core) for grades 9–12 as per CBSE guidelines.
2. Prepare detailed teaching aids including charts, audio-visual content, and supplementary notes in Hindi.
3. Conduct periodic assessments, unit tests, and term-end examinations with fair evaluation criteria.
4. Provide remedial support to students scoring below average in Hindi papers.
5. Organize Hindi Kavi Sammelan, debates, and essay writing competitions for cultural engagement.
6. Maintain accurate attendance, assessment records, and progress reports in school ERP.
7. Collaborate with subject heads to align Hindi curriculum with school-wide academic goals.
8. Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, and school functions as scheduled.
9. Ensure classroom discipline and promote Hindi language appreciation among students.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Hindi (MA Hindi) from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Hindi specialization
- Minimum 2 years of teaching Hindi at secondary or senior secondary level
- Proficiency in spoken and written Hindi and basic English for communication
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and Hindi literature syllabus for classes 9–12
Good to Have
- CTET or TET qualified
- Experience in curriculum development for Hindi
- Participation in Hindi language workshops or seminars
- Prior work in an international or progressive school environment
- Knowledge of digital teaching tools for Hindi instruction
Preferred Skills
- Strong classroom management and student engagement techniques
- Ability to create interactive lessons using local cultural references from Ghaziabad and NCR
- Skill in designing assessments that measure both language and literary understanding
- Willingness to mentor students for Hindi Olympiad and other competitions
