Your Students

Delhi Public World School's students are at the heart of everything we do. Our students, ranging from Class VI to Class XII, are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. As a PGT Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to students, promoting a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical activity, and helping students develop essential life skills such as discipline, communication, and problem-solving.

Day-to-Day Duties

As a PGT Physical Education Teacher at Delhi Public World School, your day-to-day duties will revolve around:

- Teaching Physical Education to students of Class VI to Class XII
- Developing and implementing the Physical Education curriculum
- Conducting sports events and competitions
- Providing coaching to students in various sports
- Maintaining a safe and healthy sports environment
- Engaging with parents and the school community to promote Physical Education and sports
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop a comprehensive Physical Education program
- Providing feedback and support to students, parents, and colleagues
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Physical Education and sports science

Who Can Apply

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced PGT Physical Education Teacher who has a passion for teaching and sports. To be eligible for this role, you should have:

- A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field (e.g., M.P.Ed., M.Sc. in Sports Science)
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- Teaching experience of at least three years in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of the Physical Education curriculum and assessment methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and the school community

Preferred Skills

We prefer a candidate who has:

- Experience in coaching or training students in various sports
- Knowledge of sports equipment and facilities management
- Familiarity with the use of technology in Physical Education teaching and learning
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Salary and Benefits
