Job Description
PRT Dance Teacher Job in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
At Cambridge School, we believe every child deserves to move freely, express themselves, and discover joy through dance. Our students in Ghaziabad come from diverse backgrounds, and dance is more than just a subject here—it’s a way to build confidence, reduce stress, and foster creativity. A dance teacher in our school will inspire young minds, helping them connect with rhythm and movement in a way that feels natural and empowering.
Your role as a PRT Dance Teacher in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh will be central to shaping these students’ artistic growth. You’ll design engaging lessons that cater to different skill levels, from beginners to those looking to refine their techniques. Classroom management, safety in movement, and fostering a positive learning environment are key responsibilities. You’ll also collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance into broader curriculum goals, ensuring every child feels included and motivated.
Here’s what you’ll do daily:
Teach a variety of dance styles—classical, folk, or contemporary—to suit Cambridge School’s diverse student body.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that encourage participation without pressure.
Assist in organizing school events, like cultural fests or performances, where dance plays a key role.
Maintain a safe and inclusive space for movement, ensuring proper alignment and injury prevention.
Engage parents through workshops or parent-teacher interactions to share progress and tips.
Keep lesson plans updated with new trends while staying true to foundational dance principles.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to build their skills.
Collaborate with the principal and staff to align dance teaching with school values and academic goals.
To apply, you must hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of experience in dance teaching or related arts would be highly beneficial. While Cambridge School values passion over formal certifications, a TET/CTET certificate would be an added advantage.
Cambridge School stands out for its holistic approach, where dance isn’t just a subject but a life skill. Our students thrive in an environment that blends creativity with discipline, and we’re eager to find someone who shares this vision. With a salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on young dancers.
The application process is simple: send your resume, a brief letter of interest, and any relevant teaching samples to our recruitment team. We’d love to see how your energy and expertise can inspire the next generation of dancers at Cambridge School.
