Plan and conduct regular rehearsals, ensuring students develop technique, rhythm, and creativity.
Coordinate with other art teachers to integrate dance into interdisciplinary projects and school events.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain detailed records of attendance and performance.
Organize and lead school performances, cultural festivals, and external competitions, showcasing student talent.
Collaborate with the administration to plan annual dance workshops and guest artist visits.
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging participation from all students.
Qualification
Graduate degree in any discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching positions.
TET or CTET certification preferred, though not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching dance at the school level.
Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse student body and adapt teaching methods to varied learning styles.
Experience in choreographing performances for school events is an added advantage.
Salary and employment type
Full‑time employment with a competitive salary range of Rs.18,000 – Rs.35,000 per month.
