PRT Mathematics Teacher Position at St Francis School, Indirapuram
St Francis School in Indirapuram seeks a dedicated PRT Mathematics Teacher to join its team and inspire young minds with engaging lessons. This role focuses on delivering high-quality mathematics education, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for higher academic challenges. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core mathematics subjects across different classes, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum and national education standards.
The PRT will prepare and deliver daily lesson plans, covering topics from basic arithmetic to advanced algebra and geometry, tailored to students’ learning levels. Daily classroom instruction, including interactive problem-solving sessions, will be a key part of the role. Assisting in exam preparation, conducting practice tests, and providing additional support to struggling students will also fall under responsibilities. Regular assessment of student progress, using both formative and summative evaluations, will help identify areas needing improvement and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Collaboration with colleagues, including subject coordinators and the principal, will be essential. Participating in school events, such as math competitions and workshops, will enhance the teaching experience and strengthen the school’s academic community. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for mathematics, strong communication skills, and a commitment to nurturing a love for learning in students.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and experience. A graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Three years of relevant teaching experience is preferred.
