Role
A PRT Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering high quality science instruction to students in the primary and middle school grades. The teacher will design lesson plans, conduct experiments, and assess student learning in accordance with the school curriculum.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the state syllabus.
Prepare laboratory experiments and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Assess student progress through quizzes, projects, and practical work.
Maintain accurate attendance records and student performance data.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Participate in school meetings and professional development sessions as required.
Qualification
Graduate degree in any discipline.
B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification required for teaching positions.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a school setting, with a focus on science instruction.
Experience in preparing students for competitive exams and conducting practical sessions is an advantage.
Salary
Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
