PRT Social Science Teacher Job in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Role Summary
Vardan International School is seeking a qualified and experienced PRT Social Science Teacher for our Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh campus. As a PRT Social Science Teacher at Vardan International School, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students by imparting Social Science education. This is a full-time position requiring 2 years of experience.
What You Will Do
1. Teach Social Science to students from class 6 to 10, following the CBSE curriculum.
2. Prepare lessons and classroom materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
3. Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
4. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student participation and learning.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and development.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
7. Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
8. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related field (B.A. or B.Sc. with relevant specialization)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- Valid TET/CTET certification
- 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
Good to Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Social Science or related field (M.A. or M.Sc. with relevant specialization)
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment frameworks
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Knowledge of child-centered and activity-based teaching methods
