Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced TGT English Teacher to join G.d. Goenka Public School, in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. As a TGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from class 6 to class 12.
Pedagogy and Tools
The successful candidate will be expected to use innovative teaching methods, such as project-based learning and storytelling, to engage students and improve their English language skills. You will also be required to use technology, such as educational apps and online resources, to supplement classroom teaching. At G.d. Goenka Public School, we encourage our teachers to use English language teaching tools, such as language labs and audio-visual aids, to enhance student learning.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver English language lessons to students of class 6 to class 12
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement English language curricula in accordance with CBSE guidelines
- Use English language teaching tools, such as language labs and audio-visual aids, to enhance student learning
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver interdisciplinary projects
- Attend staff meetings and participate in school-wide initiatives
- Mark and record student work and maintain accurate records
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve English language teaching skills
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this position, you should have a post-graduate degree in English Literature or English Education. A Bachelor's degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required. CTET or TET certification is preferred but not necessary. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English in a school setting.
