Daily class teaching in Physical Education will include theory sessions on sports science, nutrition, and the importance of physical activity, followed by hands-on training sessions. Collaborating with the school’s administration and other faculty members, you will ensure that all physical education programs meet academic and extracurricular goals while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
You will also be responsible for assessing students’ physical fitness levels, providing personalized feedback, and encouraging participation in school sports clubs. Regularly updating records of student progress, attendance, and participation in events will be part of your duties. Additionally, you will represent the school at local and regional sports events, promoting Jaipuria’s reputation for excellence in athletics. Your role will extend to maintaining well-equipped sports facilities, organizing seasonal camps, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols during all physical activities.
To qualify for this position, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of relevant teaching experience in Physical Education at the secondary level is mandatory, with a strong background in coaching or sports management a plus. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Your ability to inspire students, adapt teaching methods, and contribute to the school’s vision of holistic development will be key to success in this role.
