PRT Music Teacher Job in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment

About This Role
The G.b International School is looking for a PRT Music Teacher Vacancy in Ghazipur to lead music sessions for primary students. You will plan weekly lessons, conduct group and individual practice, and prepare students for school events. Experience with local Ghazipur school music programs is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach vocal and instrumental music to students from classes 1 to 5.
2. Organize weekly music classes with age-appropriate repertoire.
3. Train students for school assemblies and annual day performances.
4. Maintain discipline and participation during music period.
5. Prepare students for inter-school music competitions in Uttar Pradesh.
6. Keep attendance and progress records for each student.
7. Coordinate with the arts team for school events.
8. Source low-cost instruments for classroom use when needed.
9. Share monthly music activity reports with the principal.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Graduate in Music or equivalent from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from NCTE-recognized institute
- Minimum 2 years of Music Teaching Job in Saidpur or nearby areas
- Ability to play at least one musical instrument (harmonium, tabla, keyboard)
- Fluency in Hindi and English
Good to Have
- CTET qualified
- Experience in conducting school choir or orchestra
- Knowledge of local folk music of Eastern Uttar Pradesh
