About This Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced PRT Sanskrit Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 8 and preparing them for board exams. The candidate should have a strong teaching background and be well-versed in Sanskrit language and literature.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans that cater to the learning needs of students
- Teach Sanskrit language and literature to students from Class 6 to 8
- Assess and evaluate student performance in Sanskrit
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute school events and activities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decisions
- Develop and implement school policies and procedures related to Sanskrit teaching
- Engage in ongoing professional development to improve teaching skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized institution
- Strong background in Sanskrit language and literature
- Preferably, CTET or TET qualified
- 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
