Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day lab activities, including computer setup, software updates, and hardware maintenance.
- Coordinate with faculty to schedule lab usage, ensuring all equipment is ready for classes and projects.
- Maintain inventory records, order supplies, and track equipment depreciation.
- Resolve technical issues promptly, liaising with vendors and IT support for repairs.
- Prepare lab usage reports for school administration and suggest improvements.
- Enforce lab safety protocols, ensuring a clean and secure environment for students.
- Train students on basic computer operations and troubleshooting techniques.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with common educational software such as MS Office, Google Suite, and e‑learning platforms.
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a busy school schedule.
- Detail‑oriented mindset for accurate inventory and reporting.
Qualification and Experience
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within an educational institution or IT support environment.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed not mandatory as this is a non‑teaching position; however, candidates with teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
- TET/CTET not required for this role.
Salary
Rs.15,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and skills.
Location and Work Hours
Full‑time position based in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. Regular school hours with occasional evening or weekend support as needed.
