Day-to-Day Duties
1. Manage and oversee all Dance Department activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and event planning.
2. Recruit, train, and supervise dance instructors and staff.
3. Develop and implement dance curriculum and programs, including performance and exhibition events.
4. Collaborate with the School administration to ensure alignment with the institution's vision and goals.
5. Foster relationships with local dance schools, colleges, and universities to promote partnerships and collaborations.
6. Coordinate and manage dance-related events, competitions, and workshops.
7. Ensure compliance with School policies and procedures.
8. Evaluate and assess dance programs to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree and 2 years of post-graduate experience in dance education or a related field. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. A strong understanding of dance theory, pedagogy, and practice is essential, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.
