What You Will Do
Plan and deliver structured Music classes for senior secondary students, ensuring coverage of theory and practical skills.
Prepare students for inter-school Music competitions and cultural events regularly held in Gonda and nearby areas.
Collaborate with the arts department to integrate Music with other subjects like history and languages where relevant.
Organize annual school concerts and cultural evenings, involving students from different grades in performances.
Assess student progress through periodic recitals, written tests, and project work in a supportive classroom setting.
Recommend suitable musical instruments and resources to enhance the learning experience for students.
Attend staff meetings and contribute to curriculum reviews that include Music as a core subject.
Maintain discipline and positive learning environments during all music-related activities and rehearsals.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Music from a recognized university.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Music specialization.
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level.
Preference for candidates with TET or CTET certification.
Familiarity with Indian classical, light music, or Western vocal/instrumental traditions is beneficial.
