Your work will include designing syllabus-aligned lessons that engage students with real-world case studies, such as regional politics in Uttar Pradesh or the role of local bodies in governance.
As a PGT Political Science Teacher at Sunbeam School, you will develop and deliver advanced curriculum modules covering constitutional law, international relations, and political ideologies. Your lessons must incorporate interactive discussions, debates, and multimedia presentations to foster critical thinking. Prepare students for competitive exams like UPSC or state-level entrance tests by integrating relevant study materials and mock tests.
The role requires analyzing student performance through periodic assessments, including written exams, projects, and presentations. Design and administer quizzes on current political events, ensuring alignment with Sunbeam School’s academic standards. Collaborate with the department head to refine teaching strategies based on student feedback and curriculum reviews.
To qualify, hold a postgraduate degree in Political Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level is mandatory. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid certificate will be an asset. Experience in teaching Political Science at a school level is preferred.
