Job Overview

Day-to-Day Duties

- Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons to students in classes 9-12.
- Prepare and distribute study materials, including lesson plans and worksheets.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to improve student engagement.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive curriculum.
- Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and changes.

Required Qualifications

Must Have

- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc. or M.A.)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. from a recognized institution
- TET or CTET certification is preferred

Good to Have

- Experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level
- Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and assessment procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

- Ability to adapt to changing curriculum requirements
- Willingness to participate in staff development programs
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching

Salary and Benefits
