Sunbeam School invites a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to join its expanding team in Gonda. This role focuses on fostering physical fitness, sportsmanship, and holistic development among students through structured Physical Education classes. The primary responsibilities include designing and implementing age-appropriate Physical Education programs that promote health, discipline, and teamwork. Daily classes will cover a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, including games, athletics, and fitness drills, tailored to students’ varying skill levels. Collaboration with school management will ensure alignment with Uttar Pradesh’s education standards while adapting lessons to local sports culture, such as cricket, football, or traditional games.
A key duty is maintaining a safe and engaging environment for students, ensuring proper equipment use and injury prevention. Regular assessments will gauge progress, and feedback will be provided to students and parents to track improvement. The teacher must also participate in extracurricular events, like sports days or inter-house competitions, to boost school spirit and showcase Sunbeam’s athletic achievements.
For this role, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, along with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or a related field. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial for career growth. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds.
