Your Students
You will be working with students from Classes XI to XII, guiding them through the intricacies of Biology and helping them develop a deeper understanding of the subject. Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Biology to students of Classes XI to XII, preparing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles.
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans, ensuring that students meet their learning objectives.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them improve their understanding of Biology.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to make complex biological concepts more accessible and interesting to students.
- Encourage student participation and involvement in class discussions, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Develop and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment, fostering a sense of community and teamwork among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects, promoting cross-curricular learning and integration.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in teaching and learning.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field (M.Sc, M.A., or M.Phil) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university (CTET or TET certification preferred but not mandatory).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably with a focus on Biology.
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Biology, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude towards teaching and learning.
