Role Summary
St. Xavier International School invites fresh B.Ed graduates to become a part of our dynamic teaching team as a PGT Geography Teacher in our school in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students at the senior secondary level.
- Prepare and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Develop and implement innovative project-based learning activities that align with the school's curriculum.
- Provide individual support to students who require extra help outside regular class hours.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in staff development programs to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed degree with a specialization in Geography from a recognized university.
- TET/CTET certification is desirable but not mandatory. Candidates appearing for TET/CTET are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong subject matter expertise and experience in teaching Geography at the senior secondary level.
