About This Role
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate PGT Physics Teacher to join our faculty at Vertex Global School Deoriya in Gorakhpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics to senior secondary students, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. As a member of our Physics department, you will work closely with colleagues to create a comprehensive and challenging curriculum.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Physics lessons to senior secondary students, using a range of teaching methods and materials.
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans, taking into account the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, using a variety of assessment strategies.
- Mark and provide feedback on student assignments and projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive and challenging curriculum.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to departmental discussions.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other communication with parents.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Physics education and incorporate new ideas and resources into the curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field, with a strong academic record. A postgraduate degree or equivalent in Physics education is desirable. You should have at least 4 years of experience in teaching Physics at the senior secondary level, preferably in a school setting. A TET or CTET certification is not required for this role.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.45,000-Rs.55,000 per month, depending on experience.
