About This Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Sanskrit classes, aligned with the curriculum guidelines of CBSE and NCERT
- Coach students for CBSE board exams, ensuring they meet the expected standards in Sanskrit
- Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute co-curricular activities that promote Sanskrit language and culture
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity
- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences in Sanskrit classes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Sanskrit curriculum and its implementation at St. Xavier International School
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to discussions on curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Provide guidance and support to junior teachers and non-teaching staff in matters related to Sanskrit teaching.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess a B.Ed degree in Sanskrit or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in teaching Sanskrit at the secondary level. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the TET or CTET examinations.
