Organizing weekly review sessions to reinforce key concepts and address any gaps in understanding. Participating in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and curriculum improvements. Ensuring all teaching materials, including textbooks and lab equipment, are well-maintained and accessible for students.
Periodic responsibilities include planning and conducting term-end projects or experiments that encourage practical learning. Coordinating with the principal or head of the biology department to align teaching methods with institutional goals. Preparing reports on student performance trends to inform future teaching strategies.
To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in biology. A strong background in biology with a post-graduate qualification in the subject is essential. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
