Plan and deliver advanced economics lessons, covering topics like macroeconomics, microeconomics, and financial literacy, ensuring students grasp theoretical concepts with real-world relevance. Prepare and evaluate unit-wise assessments, incorporating both written and practical evaluations to assess understanding effectively. Collaborate with the economics department to design innovative teaching methods, including case studies and group projects, to enhance student engagement. Maintain updated lesson plans and teaching resources, ensuring alignment with the latest syllabus updates from the Uttar Pradesh Board. Act as a subject mentor, guiding junior teachers in economics pedagogy and best practices. Ensure compliance with school policies while fostering a supportive learning environment for diverse student backgrounds.
To apply, hold a postgraduate degree in Economics along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least two years of teaching experience in economics or related subjects is required, preferably in a school setting. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly advantageous.
