Job Description
What is this role?
The position is for a TGT Science Teacher at Scsb International School in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. It is a full‑time teaching role for the Science curriculum at the secondary level.
What will I actually do?
You will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for classes IX and X, covering Physics, Chemistry and Biology as per the NCERT syllabus. Responsibilities include preparing worksheets, conducting practical lab sessions, assessing student performance through tests and projects, and maintaining classroom discipline. You will also collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary activities and participate in school events such as science fairs and exhibitions.
What do I need to qualify?
A postgraduate degree in Science (M.Sc, M.A. in Science or equivalent) is required, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Possession of a TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
What experience is expected?
A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling Science for classes IX‑X, is expected. Experience in conducting laboratory experiments and using modern teaching aids will be advantageous.
What does it pay?
The salary range for this role is Rs.18,000 – Rs.32,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
