Maintain organized lab equipment and materials, ensuring they are accessible and functional for lessons.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and assess chemistry projects, assignments, and lab reports to evaluate student progress. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate chemistry concepts into interdisciplinary projects. Attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and areas for improvement. Participate in school-wide academic events and competitions related to science.
Periodic Responsibilities
Review and update teaching resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and lab manuals, to reflect current scientific advancements. Conduct periodic student feedback sessions to identify strengths and areas needing reinforcement. Ensure compliance with school safety protocols for lab activities and equipment usage.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with a focus on science education. Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in high school or equivalent. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is a plus but not mandatory. Strong command of the English language for effective communication with students and parents.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 23,000 to Rs. 50,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
